"Get Smart" fans get ready to lower exceptions again.

Fans that were not that disappointed by the "Get Smart" remake with Steve Carrell now have a direct to DVD sequel. "'Get Smart''s Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control." features the two bumbling characters who spent most of the main movie talking about how they never get to do anything coo. Now you can see it all for yourself.
I saw it on itunes. I was shocked they wanted to charge for it. It looks like an ad for the main film. I liked "Get Smart." So there.

Larry Miller plays Chief or some kind of version there of. They couldn't get Alan Arkin. Remember the days you could? The Jerk Boys Movie?

Get Smart looks pretty good over all though it seems like Steve Carell is veering toward an excess of slapstick humor

from what i understand, the makers of the recent "Get Smart" movie (starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway) did not intend or want to remake the old Get Smart, but to create a new version of it. They understood that the old version was priceless and perfect and that no current actor could recreate the performance, but they used steve carell to make, you could say, a new generation of Get Smart.
However from the images provided, i do agree that this sequel is a flop at best, probably more appropriate to say it's shameful to associate it with the genius of the original Get Smart :( pity
